The Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management Programme (CRDMP) aims to Strengthen the overall system of DRM in Nepal through policy reforms, risk management, community-based DRM including climate risk management, promoting seismic resilience, and emergency preparedness and early recovery. The programme enhances partnerships with Government, NGOs, academia, private sector and civil society and expands the institutional and knowledge base of DRM, also contributes in establishing strategic linkages between DRM and development sectors. With different components the CDRMP has been contributing across the country. The programme has been implemented in coordination with different ministries and agencies that includes: MoHA, MoFAGA, MoUD, MoFE, MoA, MoEWRI, NPC, KMC, UN agencies, National training institutes, regional institutes, I/NGOs, academia, private sectors, Emergency first responders such as APF, NP, Fire brigades, national volunteer SAR teams, civil societies and media.
