DDRP process was started with an aim to assist to rehabilitate socio-economic status of the survivor’s aftermath of earthquakes of April-May 2015. The project has been developed on the principle of build back better to enhance local resilience to future disasters. The project has several components to strengthen essential dimension integrated development i.e. livelihoods, WASH, protection, education, health sector etc. Further, the project has been assisting in restoring of local tracks and bridges, construction of Earthquake resilient school buildings, various disaster preparedness measures etc.
