CARE Nepal has contributed significantly to GoN’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan. CARE Nepal works closely with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development; Ministry of Education; Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare (MoWCSC); Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to influence in creating new ones or implementing existing policies, practices and provisions related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) so that at-risk vulnerable communities are assisted in addressing the causes of vulnerability.
